SPX500 - power supply system dedicated to broadband networks

As a result of increased demand for DC 48V power in the backbone nodes of the Eastern Poland Broadband Network WL Lublin and Pulawy, a need has arisen to expand the existing DC power infrastructure.

The subject of implementation is the supply and installation of power supply systems of a new type - SDX 500. The SDX series systems are characterized by the possibility of uninterruptible DC power supply of telecommunications and network equipment with a rated voltage of -48VDC and a maximum load of up to 584A.

The system is built as a standalone cabinet with an internal usable height of 43 U for a system height of 2000 mm. The system is suitable for indoor installation and includes the following components:

• AC/DC switchgear with height - height U1 = 13U
• Rectifier subrack - height U2 = 2U
• Battery compartment 3 - height U3 = 10U
• Battery compartment 2 - height U4 = 8U
• Battery compartment 1 - height U5 = 8U

The switchgear can be equipped with various types of load protection modules. Their primary function is to provide the user with a flexible customized configuration of load protection.
