GSM-R for Polish Railway

TELZAS Sp. z o. o. signed with Nokia Solutions and Networks Sp. z o.o. the largest contract in its more than 40 years of history. We will provide power supply and monitoring systems to the GSM-R network being built for PKP Polish State Railways. The aim of the project is to modernize the communication network.

GSM-R is a compulsory part of the ERTMS system, which is implemented throughout Europe to help railway operators manage train traffic in a European Rail Control System (ETCS). The system will increase reliability, train traffic safety and ensure the increase of travelers' satisfaction.

The GSM-R system will make PKP PLK one of the largest modern railway communication networks in Europe. The system is to be completed in 2023. During this time, TELZAS will provide, install and run uninterruptible power supply systems and a monitoring system for new and modernized GSM-R infrastructure facilities for NOKIA.

Since the announcement of the planned implementation of the project, Telzas has been seeking to obtain this contract, and Nokia Solutions and Networks trusted the company's experience and selected Telzas as a supplier for the monitoring system and power supply system.
